From October 1 to November 7, 2025, Alliance Française de Dar es Salaam proudly presents Mindscapes: Between Spirit and Memory, featuring the works of Eric Lugakingira (Tanzania) and Aaron Mulenga (Zambia/USA).
Two visionary artists come together in a powerful dialogue on spirituality, memory, and transformation.
Eric Lugakingira, fresh from his acclaimed exhibition at the Humboldt Forum, Berlin, pushes photography into bold new territories—combining performance, installation, and recycled materials to explore the fragile connections between humans and their environment.
Aaron Mulenga, a Zambian artist based in New York, interrogates faith, identity, and heritage through sculpture and mixed media, reframing how spiritual traditions evolve in contemporary life.
Curated by Gadi Ramadhani, this exhibition invites audiences to reflect, converse, and immerse themselves in a journey between spirit and memory.
