[LIVE PAINTING PERFORMANCE] — Live Art by Eddy Ekete (DRC)

Step into the playful and experimental world of Eddy Ekete, a Congolese artist whose performative painting explores chance, participation, and collective creation. This event is presented in support of the artist Eddy Ekete, with the support of House of Wondar.

During this live event at the Alliance’s courtyard, visitors are invited to become part of the artwork itself. Armed with paint-filled eggs, participants aim at the artist, who tries to avoid being hit. Through this playful interaction, a collaborative piece gradually emerges — a work of art shaped by spontaneity, movement, and community energy.

While the painting unfolds, the restaurant Déjà Vu will serve a giant omelette for attendees to enjoy, followed by music to celebrate creativity and togetherness.

Ingia katika ulimwengu wa kucheza na majaribio wa Eddy Ekete, msanii kutoka Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Kongo, ambaye uchoraji wake wa kimatendo unachunguza bahati, ushiriki, na ubunifu wa pamoja. Tukio hili linafanyika kwa ajili ya kumuunga mkono msanii Eddy Ekete, kwa msaada wa House of Wonderland.

Katika tukio hili la moja kwa moja katika ua wa Alliance, wageni wanaalikwa kuwa sehemu ya kazi ya sanaa yenyewe. Wakiwa na mayai yaliyojazwa rangi, washiriki wanamlenga msanii, ambaye hujaribu kuepuka kupigwa. Kupitia mwingiliano huu wa kucheza, kazi ya pamoja ya sanaa hujitokeza taratibu — kazi inayoundwa na ubunifu wa ghafla, mwendo, na nguvu ya jamii.

Wakati uchoraji ukiendelea, mgahawa Déjà Vu utahudumia omeleti kubwa kwa wageni kufurahia, ikifuatiwa na muziki wa kusherehekea ubunifu na umoja.
