Step into a powerful celebration of transformation — where industry meets imagination, and metal becomes meaning.

From ore to form, from old to gold, CHUMA explores iron as both material and symbol of strength, resilience, and renewal. Through bold fashion pieces made from recycled metal, sculptural works, and immersive performances, the exhibition reimagines chuma as a reflection of Tanzanian creativity.

Bringing together two artistic visions, it creates a dialogue between cultures and craftsmanship. Jocktan Makeke, founder of Makeke International, is known for his theatrical Afro-inspired designs blending fantasy and Afrofuturism. Richard Zitting, a Finnish goldsmith, reinterprets classical jewellery techniques through contemporary, three-dimensional works.

More than an exhibition, it celebrates sustainability, beauty, and rebirth through art.
