A sparkling evening of French opera, theatre, and music

For a special edition of Jumatano Groove, discover Offenbach et les Trois Empereurs, a lively performance celebrating the wit, humour, and musical brilliance of French composer Jacques Offenbach.

Written and directed by Christophe Barbier, this acclaimed production combines storytelling, live piano, and captivating soprano performances to revisit the world of one of France’s most beloved composers. Featuring excerpts from iconic operas including La Vie Parisienne, La Belle Hélène, and Orphée aux Enfers, the show offers a joyful journey through French operatic culture.

This special seated performance will begin promptly and run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After the show, the evening continues with a DJ set by Hijab DJ, keeping the atmosphere alive late into the night.

Kwa toleo maalum la Jumatano Groove, njoo ugundue Offenbach et les Trois Empereurs — maonesho yenye uchangamfu yanayosherehekea ucheshi, ubunifu, na umahiri wa kimuziki wa mtunzi maarufu wa Kifaransa, Jacques Offenbach.

Yameandikwa na kuongozwa na Christophe Barbier, maonesho haya yanachanganya simulizi, muziki wa piano wa moja kwa moja, na uimbaji wa kuvutia wa soprano, yakitupitisha katika ulimwengu wa mmoja wa watunzi mashuhuri zaidi wa Ufaransa. Yakijumuisha sehemu kutoka opera maarufu kama La Vie Parisienne, La Belle Hélène, na Orphée aux Enfers, ni safari ya kufurahisha kupitia utamaduni wa opera ya Kifaransa.
