Get excited for a special Alhamisi Groove as we close the season with an evening celebrating the power, creativity, and artistry of women in music. Bringing together three distinctive voices from Tanzania’s contemporary music scene, the night promises soulful storytelling, bold expression, and unforgettable performances.
Featuring Salma Munde, whose ethereal sound blends Alternative Bongo Flava with elements of R&B, Soul, AfroPop, and Hip-Hop; EllaNoella, whose music draws from Afrojazz, funk, Afropop, and traditional African sounds to create songs rooted in healing, culture, and connection; and Chi Temu, a soulful singer-songwriter whose special performance explores the secrets, tensions, and unanswered questions of dark love through music and theatrical flair.
A fitting send-off before our cultural programming break, this special edition of Alhamisi Groove is proudly supported by the Embassy of Spain as part of its commitment to supporting women-led artistic initiatives.
