Movie screenings of “Najiamini” a short animation film by
Tai Tanzania (TZ) followed by “Une rivière métissée ” directed
by Julien Cadieux (CA) supported by the High Commission
of Canada and the Francophone Team
Synopsis : Paryse Suddith is of Cherokee, African-American and
Acadian descent. After devoting her time to the practice of Indigenous
law, she returned to New Brunswick to take care of her health. From
her unique perspective, we witness the efforts and challenges of
reconnecting across cultural communities and with her own family.
