Join us for a night of total entertainment.
Launching their latest album and preparing for their upcoming European tour, Abeneko and The Positive Mind bring high energy vibes to Bagamoyo.
ABENEKO and THE POSITIVE MIND are led by Abeneko, a Tanzanian contemporary live performer, singer, songwriter, guitarist and choreographer. Abeneko and The Positive Mind’s music is a fusion of contemporary East African beats including singeli, melodies, funk and Afro-fusion combined with traditional dance and rhythms.
Their music aims to promote Tanzanian traditional and contemporary music, dance and culture. ABENEKO and THE POSITIVE MIND have performed at major festivals around East Africa including Sauti za Busara, Bayimba and Karibu music festivals as well as tours of Germany, Denmark, Finland and USA. The band is well known for their energetic and wonderful live performance with storytelling, entertaining and strong messages that address different issues in society and culture.
