Kananayé is a Franco-Burkinabe musical project that blends West African traditions with contemporary influences. Led by virtuosic musicians—Seydou “Kanazoe” Diabate (balafon, percussion, vocals), Abdoulaye “Debademba” Traore (guitars), Clotilde Rullaud (vocals, flute), and Achille Nacoulma (drums, percussion, vocals)—the group weaves a rich and captivating soundscape. Through original compositions and reimagined covers, Kananayé celebrates multiculturalism and artistic freedom, taking audiences on a journey from poetic ballads to electrifying trance rhythms.
