Synopsis:
After two pregnancies, Sonja struggles with her body and her relationship with her husband, Milan. Frauke, approaching her 60th birthday, faces similar challenges and feels nearly invisible to her partner. Daughter Julie is pursuing her modeling career, yet repeatedly discovers imperfections in her body. “Wunderschön” (EN: “Wonderfully Beautiful”) is the story of five women, each at different stages of life, confronting their self-image and the expectations placed on them by themselves and others.
