Hailing from Zanzibar and born out of the iconic Dhow Countries Music Academy, @StoneTownRockerz blend Afrobeat, Highlife, Fusion, and Taarab into one powerful sound.
They hit the iconic Sauti za Busara stage soon after forming, and have been sharing their evolving musical journey ever since. With recordings produced by US-based Bill McKinney, their sound is as global as it is deeply rooted in East Africa.
