[EXHIBITION] SUNS OF HOPES – An exhibition by Rémi Leroy (FR)
Rémi Leroy is an illustrator with a background in environmental engineering. This exhibition results from a collaborative work with his wife, the anthropologist Inès Pasqueron de Fommervault. For 7 months, they traveled across different regions of Tanzania and Kenya to meet innovative and inspiring knowledge holders.
These women and men are everyday heroes facing global challenges threatening their present, future, and world. Shaping local, original, and sustainable techniques, they push further their ingenuity and humanity to act and resist. These drawings bring to light their know-how, which deserves to be better known. Today, more than ever, the world is connected and needs to be thought of in terms of sharing and creativity, raising the suns of hopes.
