JUMATANO GROOVE – The Kilimanjaro Band (TZ) 🎤🎶

The Kilimanjaro Band, also known as Wana Njenje, was established in 1973 in Tanga and was initially called Love Burgers. In 1975, the name was changed to Revolution Band. Later, in 1989, the name was changed again to The Kilimanjaro Band. That same year, they recorded their first album, titled Kata Kata. This album featured the popular song “Njenje,” which gained so much fame that the band became widely known as Wana Njenje. In 1997, the band recorded their second album, Maua. In 2000, they recorded their third album, Kinyaunyau. Finally, in 2005, they released their fourth album, Gere.
