Uma is a multidisciplinary event at Ajabu Ajabu with artists and musicians exploring different themes. This friday we will be exploring theme of Roads through a poetic reflection on artist Otieno Wakake’s bicycle journeys between Nairobi and Durban with music by Wakake & DJ Seche, set design by Temela Hassan and text interludes by Habib Diliwa. There will also be a special traveller’s menu Sensory Swahili and a screening of a documentary film, The Letter.
