DESCRIPTION:JUMATANO GROOVE #166 \nGet ready for an empowering and vibrant night of live music with Bahati Female Band – Afro-fusion (TZ). \nFounded in 2020 in Dar es Salaam\, Tanzania\, the band is made up of 20 talented young women passionate about music\, dance\, and drama. They combine traditional instruments\, modern and contemporary dance\, and African rhythms to entertain diverse audiences. Some members are disabled but highly skilled. \nThe band aims to empower women\, nurture young talent\, and provide a platform for budding artists. They have performed at major Tanzanian music festivals and were nominated at the Tanzania Music Awards in 2022 & 2023.
