DESCRIPTION:MITAZAMO YETU\nMuda Africa tours Frozen Power – a contemporary dance work inspired by Liti Kidanka\, a female healer and resistance leader from Singida\, Tanzania who opposed German colonial rule. \nThe piece reflects on women’s role in resistance and the restitution of human remains and cultural artefacts taken during colonial times. \nWhile debates around restitution continue across the Global North\, Tanzanian voices are still rarely included in these conversations. \nThis is your opportunity to speak up\, share your perspective\, and join the discussion. \nThe tour begins in Bagamoyo and will continue to Dar es Salaam\, Dodoma and Zanzibar.
