His music is mainly characterized by African rhythms\, percussive sounds\, ambient drones\, and electronic synth sounds. He has found his musical influences in the likes of great African folk artists like Meiway\, Sally Nyolo\, Richard Bona\, and Francis Bebey\, as well as international figures in electronic composition include Pierre Henry\, Rone Hainbach\, Lucrecia Dalt\, HÈlËne Vogelsinger\, and PC Nackt. His latest album\, titled SHOCK\, was released earlier in 2023. IKF uses this fund to promote innovative productions and international cultural exchange as well as new approaches to intercultural collaboration and networking. \nConditions for funding \nThe funding is intended for professional performing artists\, ensembles and initiatives in Germany and non-German-speaking countries in the fields of theatre\, dance\, music and performance art with insufficient means of their own to realise an international co-production. IKF particularly welcomes applications for funding from developing and transition countries. \nWho is funded \nIKF provides funding for international co-productions that are likely to be of high artistic calibre and to have some impact on the respective arts scene. Hybrid and interdisciplinary formats and the use of digital media may be important elements of these co-productions. Collective artistic development of the project is a prerequisite\, which is the reason IKF doesn’t provide funding for projects that involve nothing but guest performances\, tours or appearances at festivals. \nFunding criteria \n* The projects for which funding is requested must centre on the performing arts (no exclusively film- or exhibition-based projects).\n* Calibre of the project\n* Standing of the participating artists in their performing arts scene.\n* Budget showing own/third-party funding and a sound financial plan.\n* Balanced project partnership\, artistic collaboration.\n* At least one performance outside of Germany and\, if possible\, in Germany\, too.\n* Project period should not exceed 24 months. \nRequired documents \nApplications to the International Coproduction Fund must be submitted online in English.\nNote: Proof of contact with the respective Goethe-Institut abroad must be provided for the application. \nInformation about the application process \nThe applicant or first co-producer must be an artist or ensemble from a non-German-speaking country. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a workshop at the Goethe-Institut exploring the role of short film in a filmmaker’s or film producer’s career. The workshop will be hosted by Heinz Hermanns\, founder and director of INTERFILM – International Short Film Festival Berlin and Ajabu Ajabu. \nThe workshop will explore the definition of short films and examine a variety of short films to better articulate what it means to succeed in the medium\, both creatively and economically. Mkusanyiko huu utatangaza tamaduni tofauti tofauti za ngoma za asili na tamaduni za mataifa yao. \nNovemba 2023\, wachezaji ngoma wanne mashuhuri\, wanaoitambulisha Togo\, Kamerun\, Tanzania\, na Rwanda\,watapewa fursa kuiwasilisha Bikutsi 3000\, kila mmoja wao akikazia ngoma yake ndani ya nchi hizo .
