I am so excited to announce the Tanzanian premiere of my autobiographical dance performance, BECOMING: From the Streets to Now, happening on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at Nafasi Art Space, Mikocheni B, Dar es Salaam.

“BECOMING: From the Streets to Now is a contemporary autobiographical dance performance based on a true story, in which Samwel Japhet reflects on his journey from the streets to the present, after living as a street child across cities in Tanzania for over a decade.”
