TATOO – CALL FOR ARTISTS

DINEMBO project aims to empower tattoo artists in Tanzania by providing them with an in-depth understanding of the history and creativity of this art form in Tanzania and Africa as a whole. Through a series of workshops culminating to a two-day public event on modern tattoo art, this project is creating a unique pathway to revive this tradition in Tanzania. Currently, the project will focus on body art from the Makonde tribe of southern Tanzania, serving as a creative guide to spark these discussions in our contemporary community.
